When I Was Sick

2/16/2020

Cracked and crumbled saltine
Crackers soaking soup
Sinking softly
Amongst the noodles
In broth of chicken
And seven-up in
A tall McDonalds
Grimace glass with ice

This was my lunch
That I’d get when
I was sick
Stay home and sleep
In mom and dad’s bed
So I could watch tv
And rest in my
Pajamas
